We have had a fantastic first 6 months in business and have loved every minute of it. It has been hard work but we have succeeded in filling some very challenging roles. We have spoken to many exceptional people and hope our advice has helped them to secure new roles. We have also forged strong relationships with several clients. cazden does aim to be different in many ways and one of them is by providing some of our time for free to support local charities. Here is what I have been involved with lately…

I (mainly) work remotely from the Island of Mull whilst Caryn works out of our Edinburgh office. This means that our “local” charities are indeed very different. I recently spent a day helping out AN TOBAR ( who are the only publicly funded, multidisciplinary arts centre in Argyll. It is a vibrant centre for visual arts, craft and music, promoting innovative and creative work at the heart of this island community. I was asked to help them in a HR capacity so I reviewed and updated all employment contracts and have created or formalised employment policies and procedures for them too. It is very rewarding supporting the local community especially here on Mull as I personally know some of the people that work so hard at AN TOBAR to make it a success.
